IGM OFFICIALLY BROKE GROUND ON ITS NEW PRODUCTION FACILITY IN CHINA


A NEW GREENFIELD SITE IN ANQING, AHUI PROVINCE, CHINA

Production facilityThe official ground-breaking ceremony for IGM’s new greenfield site in Anqing, Anhui Province in China took place on 23rd October.  The new site emphasizes IGM’s commitment to UV/EB technology and will ensure that the company is able to support its valued customers by addressing the increasing global demand for high quality photoinitiator products and successfully produce and launch new products.  The site will be designed with a finished product capacity in excess of ten thousand metric tons and include backward integration into key starting materials. It will also include a new pilot facility and flexible scale-up production capacity to facilitate the introduction of new photoinitiators developed in support of key market trends, including LED curing, low migration and water borne UV technology.  First production is scheduled by Q4 2020.
