From May 13 to May 15, the newly formed GPM&M (Global Product Management and Marketing) team convened for its first joint meeting at iGM Resins' Milan Lab in Italy. This milestone gathering, themed "Collaboration Unlocked," united colleagues from across all regions to foster stronger cooperation, enhance strategic alignment, and build personal connections essential to global teamwork. More importantly, it reaffirmed iGM Resins’ deep commitment to customer centricity. By unlocking collaboration between global and regional teams, the ultimate goal of this event was to improve the way we serve our customers—faster, more effectively, and with greater value.

Strengthening the integration between Product Management and Marketing is a key strategic priority for iGM Resins. These two core functions, when closely aligned, play a vital role in accelerating decision-making, improving go-to-market execution, and ensuring product strategies are developed in direct response to customer and market needs.

The GPM&M team encompasses several critical roles:

  • Regional Commercial Product Management serves as the bridge between global strategy and local execution, adapting product plans to regional market needs and supporting local sales teams.
  • Pricing Analysts provide data-driven insights and pricing strategies to optimize competitiveness, margin performance, and market access.
  • MarCom supports the organization through impactful internal and external communications, strategic content development, digital engagement, and branding initiatives.

Through focused workshops and strategic discussions, participants explored how combined efforts can lead to more efficient innovation, more agile responses to customer demands, and clearer value propositions.
