What is your role?
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies for selected (in)direct spend categories. You will support procurement reporting and analysis, manage supplier relationships, and ensure procurement processes are aligned with internal needs and external market dynamics. Key responsibilities include:
Sourcing Strategy & Execution
- Draft and execute sourcing strategies for selected spend categories, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract definition.
- Develop a strong understanding of internal needs and external market factors.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to deploy sourcing strategies locally.
- Implement sourcing strategies to ensure reliable and compliant sources of supply with competitive pricing.
Cost Optimization & Value Creation (TCO)
- Manage cost-saving initiatives to meet cost reduction targets.
- Drive programs to reduce overall working capital (OWC).
- Develop multi-aspect sourcing scenarios balancing price, rebates, risk management, and working capital.
Procurement Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare procurement reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Conduct data analysis to identify spend patterns, savings opportunities, and compliance gaps.
- Contribute to procurement performance tracking and KPI monitoring.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Act as the primary contact for suppliers and develop strong partnerships.
- Monitor supplier performance against key performance indicators.
- Define and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
Collaboration & Best Practices
- Work closely with key stakeholders such as site management, engineering, finance, SHE, and regulatory teams.
- Share best practices and standardize procurement processes and tools across IGM in cooperation with local procurement teams in other regions.

Who are you?
- You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- You bring 3–7 years of procurement experience, preferably in the chemical industry and international environments.
- You have experience with raw materials and indirect spend categories (e.g., transport, warehousing).
- You are skilled in procurement data analysis, reporting tools, and performance tracking (e.g., dashboards, KPIs).
- You understand sustainable sourcing and market trends in the (petro)chemical industry.
- You are flexible, decisive, and capable of setting priorities in a dynamic environment.
- You are fluent in English and possess excellent negotiation and communication skills.
