Impact Day 2022 - Environmental Preservation

A key component of our groundbreaking cultural transformation, “We Are IGM” was a desire to make a difference in the communities we serve around the world. To make this actionable, we developed “Impact Day.” This year’s inaugural event theme was “Environmental Preservation.”

Employees from five regions came together during the months of September and October to engage in sustainable activities such as collecting waste and recyclables, planting trees, and beautifying public spaces. Some took part in 5K runs to shed light on the importance of regular physical exercise and the benefits of spending time outdoors.
Collectively, 299 team members completed 1882 hours of volunteering.  Take a look at these impressive results!

•    Reforestation of degraded areas for environmental preservation
•    Collection of recyclable material
•    Cleaning up local neighborhoods by collecting waste
•    Revitalization of natural areas and landscaped areas of community parks

Our team’s efforts raised awareness of the importance of giving back and illustrated their commitment to partner with their communities in meaningful social impact programs.
