IGM Resins’ Energy resin production operational within dynamic market situation

IGM Resins’ Energy Curing Resin production operational within dynamic market situation

October 21st, 2021

While our energy curing resins production site in Charlotte, USA remains fully operational, key raw material shortages will continue to impact our costs and supply situation.

As announced in February 2021, the unprecedented weather and utility supply situation in Texas created force majeure conditions and/or shutdowns for suppliers of key feedstocks IGM uses to produce Energy Curing Resins.

Mitigating risks by having several key raw material sources and production prioritization, the current market dynamics of e.g. Dual Control measures in China, shipment costs and delays, and key supply issues in various regions in the USA that are beyond our reasonable control, IGM has decided the site of Charlotte will remain in Force Majeure status.

IGM is dedicated to be a reliable partner to the UV industry and will continue to focus all efforts on returning to a normal supply situation.
