Function: Regulatory Affairs & Compliance

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Setting up and regulating product registration in compliance with existing and emerging global legislation, with special regard to North American compliance
-Responsible for TSCA and DSL, compliance of traded and manufactured product. Manage the process of drafting and submitting PMNs for new products and coordinate the annual Active TSCA list. Highlight any discrepancies and work to correct with manager.
-Responsible for regulatory info gathering (NPI etc) and registration of products ( with manager / consultants when required) on global inventories as per business need. 
-Works as a part of the Regualtory Affairs team to maintain current regulatory information on the global product database. 
-Providing support to customers (customer questionnaires and questions), suppliers, agents and IGM team members
-Promote safety awareness in IGM locations (stock locations, production sites, laboratories)
-Works as a part of the Regualtory Affairs team to author GHS and CLP compliant MSDS and labels and RIS documentation for all business units within IGM Ensure documents are always compliant with latest regulations and any changes are communicated internally and externally;
-Liaison with external consultants to ensure regulatory projects on target and on budget
-DGSA advisor, work with compliance officer on safety issues and internal training.
-Work in accordance with company rules and regulations;
-Perform other duties as requested.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelors or Master’s level Chemistry and General Science. 
-Minimum of 5 years (preferably ten) working experience in an international organization in a similar position, advantageously focusing on regulatory affairs in the UV Radcure and/or specialty chemicals industries. 
-An expert in TSCA and DSL, CLP/GHS, and familiar with other international regulations and legislations, General Product Safety (Food- contact and Product Safety Authority), industry bodies such as Radtech. 
-Qualified DGSA. 
-Fluent in English.
